2019-2020 LEA State President Armand Buuck

Welcome to the Louisiana Elks Association Web Site. The Louisiana Elks would like to invite you to visit our picturesque land and share in its rich tradition and varied cultural background that is “Louisiana”. Southern Louisiana, a delta formed by the mighty Mississippi River, contains estuaries that provide some of the best fishing in the world and swamp lands that are home to various forms of wildlife. The central and northern parts of our state, with its lakes and bayous lined with majestic oaks, contain breathtaking scenery truly representing what is considered the “South”. A tour of the historical plantation homes along the Mississippi River provides an insight to the early agricultural role Louisiana once played in the economic development of our nation.

New Orleans, once considered the Paris of the western hemisphere, contains several of our nation’s historical sites and architecture that represents our European origins. In addition to being steeped in tradition, the city is home to not only Mardi Gras and the annual Elks parade, but a World Class Zoo, Aquarium, Insectarium, Riverfront Shopping Mall, The National WWII Museum, beautiful Hotels and Convention Center. There are endless things to do and visit in our jewel of Louisiana. New Orleans has proven to be a tourist destination for travelers from all over the world.

Louisiana is home to eight Elk lodges located throughout our state. Some are located in smaller rural towns surrounded by tree shaded acres of land and others close to densely populated urban areas. Every lodge has different facilities. Some have Pools, RV hook-ups, Outdoor and Indoor game areas. It is always a good idea to call ahead for directions and availability. The Louisiana Elks will make you feel welcome.

Come experience our festivals, fairs and food. Your visit to Louisiana will truly be an experience you will not soon forget.

Thank you for visiting our website.
